People Partner – Seasonal HR Role

About the role

As a People Partner at Rhythm, you will serve as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders in Niseko, Japan. You will combine strategic guidance with hands‑on support to help managers navigate people‑related challenges and foster a thriving workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, uniform distribution, and coordination with logistics for accommodation.
• Conduct regular 1‑on‑1 meetings with department leaders to identify team challenges and propose HR solutions.
• Assist leaders with performance management cycles, coaching, and documentation.
• Facilitate learning and development initiatives, from participant onboarding to post‑training follow‑up.
• Prepare and present compensation, promotion, and bonus proposals in collaboration with the People Partner Manager.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with managers and employees.
• Coaching mindset that empowers leaders to develop their people skills.
• Understanding of strategic business priorities and how HR can support them.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
