Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Partner (Japan/APAC)

About the role

Braze is looking for a high‑potential Recruiter to help build and scale our APAC & Japan teams. You will design and execute sourcing strategies, manage end‑to‑end pipelines, and partner with local hiring managers across GTM, technical, and G&A functions.

Key responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and hire top talent for Japan teams, managing the full candidate lifecycle from outreach to offer acceptance.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define candidate profiles and implement best‑in‑class recruiting strategies.
• Screen candidates, facilitate post‑interview debriefs, and guide hiring teams toward data‑driven decisions.
• Maintain market insights on SaaS/Tech hiring trends in Japan and build scalable talent pools using direct sourcing and agency relationships.
• Support regional APAC recruiting initiatives and contribute to cross‑functional HR projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of full‑lifecycle recruiting experience (agency or in‑house).
• Fluency in Japanese (native‑level) and professional proficiency in English.
• Growth mindset, curiosity, and openness to feedback.
• Strategic and analytical thinking with ability to track recruiting metrics.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience engaging with senior leadership is highly preferred.
