Talent & Culture Analyst

About the role

As a Talent & Culture Analyst you will be accountable for the accurate, timely and well‑controlled delivery of Talent & Culture operational processes across the full employee lifecycle in Japan. You will provide proactive support to the Head of Talent & Culture, the Business Partner and key local, regional and Group stakeholders in a regulated multinational banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver seamless Talent & Culture operations across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee data management and off‑boarding.
• Partner with local, regional and external teams to provide an exceptional employee and leader experience.
• Ensure policies, processes and controls are consistently applied and aligned with ANZ and local regulatory requirements.
• Produce accurate people reporting and insights to support workforce planning, governance and decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve processes, enhancing efficiency and stakeholder experience.
• Manage employee queries and people‑related matters with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
• Support local, regional and global projects contributing to strategic people initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations or administration, preferably within a multinational, regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Law, Commerce or related discipline.
• Business‑level proficiency in both Japanese and English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent stakeholder management experience partnering with leaders, regional teams and external providers.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret people data and generate insights.
