Snowsports Supervisor – Seasonal (Niseko)

About the role

The Snowsports Supervisor supports the Private Lessons Manager in delivering private ski and snowboard lessons, premium privates and resort guiding at Rhythm in Niseko. Working on‑snow, the supervisor ensures smooth daily operations, instructor supervision and high‑quality guest experiences throughout the season.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Private Lessons Manager with daily delivery of private lessons, premium privates and resort guiding.
• Review bookings, guest needs and instructor availability to allocate staff and make schedule adjustments.
• Maintain a visible on‑snow leadership presence, conduct briefings and coordinate meeting points.
• Provide coaching, feedback and development support to instructors.
• Resolve guest and operational issues within delegated authority.
• Cover the manager when absent, ensuring clear hand‑over of responsibilities.
• Monitor instructor capacity, utilisation and identify opportunities to support additional sales.

Required profile

• Ability to supervise instructors on‑snow and manage daily lesson operations.
• Strong communication skills for guest interaction and team coordination.
• Flexibility to work 30‑40 hours per week during the season (Nov 9 – Mar 31).
• Willingness to travel to Niseko and comply with travel allowance reimbursement.

• Hourly wage from ¥2,384 to ¥2,850 (monthly equivalent ¥466,597‑¥557,197).
• Seasonal estimate between ¥2,532,562 and ¥2,995,188.
• Travel allowance of ¥100,000 reimbursed on actual flight cost.
