Seasonal Kitchen Hand – Hakuba Hospitality Group

About the role

We are looking for skilled Kitchen Hands to join our team at various Hakuba Hospitality Group venues for the winter season. The role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and supporting smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils and equipment.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitisation.
• Assist in serving food to guests, including plating, garnishing, portioning and clearing tables.
• Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and helping with storage of deliveries.
• Follow sanitation practices in the bar area, keeping it clean and complying with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.

Required profile

• Legal right to live and work in Japan.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings, mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle a fast‑paced environment and physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
• Strong work ethic and a team‑first mentality.
• Japanese or international licence preferred.
• Commitment to work until 31 March 2027.
