Chef de Partie (Line Chef) – Seasonal Position in Hakuba

About the role

Join our kitchen team as a Line Chef/Chef de Partie and help deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast‑paced culinary environment. You will be responsible for food preparation, dish assembly, and maintaining high standards while supporting smooth service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipe specifications.
• Execute cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, and frying with precision.
• Ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow order details, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to coordinate operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or line chef.
• Legal right to live and work in Japan (e.g., Working Holiday Visa).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to handle a fast‑paced environment, stand for long periods, and lift heavy objects.
• Strong work ethic and a team‑first mentality.
• Fluency in English; Japanese language skills are a bonus.
• Japanese driving licence or International Driving Permit preferred.
• Commitment to work until 31 March 2027.
