Consultant – Commercial Services

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a self‑motivated Consultant to implement its Commercial Cloud solutions for life‑science clients in Japan. The role involves configuring Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, PromoMats and related tools, working closely with both domestic and global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and implement Veeva Commercial solutions (Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, Veeva PromoMats, Events Management) based on requirements gathered in workshops.
• Lead implementation tasks including workshops delivery, requirements gathering, configuration, validation, data migration, integration, training and go‑live support.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams in Japan and abroad, ensuring alignment with global governance and cross‑functional partners such as Product, Strategy, Sales and CSM.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in IT consulting or professional services within a regulated industry (e.g., life sciences, banking, insurance).
• Hands‑on exposure to business and IT groups in implementation, administration or support of software solutions.
• Proven ability to develop workshop, training and requirements‑gathering material for business and system stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Business‑level English and fluent Japanese.
